But all things considered, I chose Captain America.

Frank Miller's Daredevil . . . but being second to that run is nothing to be ashamed of. . .

Frank Miller's Daredevil. Ted, these questions are making me look less like a JB fan than I really am.

Frank Miller's Daredevil - like Watchmen, I think what came after did more harm than good, but thats' not Miller's, or Moore's fault.

Hmmm...that's a tough, almost unfair, comparison. JB only got to do Captain America for 10 issues. Miller had a much longer run on Daredevil, plus he had the chance to come back to the character over the years.
But my personal preference? Well, Captain America is my favorite hero and JB and Roger Stern did him as well as anyone ever has, so I'll go with the Sentinel of Liberty.

Tho JB's Capt America really defined the character (sad, considering the
short run), Miller's DD completely revitalized the character.

James: Why apologies?
---
I swiped your response.
-JBNM over DU -Thor over Daredevil and Doctor Strange -The Defenders over a single character book -Walt Simonson's Thor over John Byrne's because he's never handled that title -JB's Daredevil artwork over Frank Miller's -JB's Captain America over Frank Miller's Daredevil

Wow, one of the toughest ones yet. Not even sure which angle to tackle it
from...writing? best writing of the two? art? best art of the two? do I take
JB's Avengers into account? does my opinion include Miller's second run
on Daredevil? the personality of each character as written?
From a historical perspective...I'd have to say I enjoyed Miller's first run of
Daredevil better as a whole. I would have liked to see him bring in a few
more supervillains at some point...but I don't think that would've
happened if he had stayed on. Which is the strong point for me on JB's
Captain America run...so great because they used alot of cool
supervillains (Batroc, Mr Hyde, Dragon Man, etc.) in such a short run. Very
explosive.
If we're talking nowadays...such as Miller is going back to Daredevil and
JB will be on Captain America...that's an easy decision for me. I'd pick JB's
Captain America.
