Magneto and The Wasp in Secret Wars. We all know Doom has an eye for the ladies.

Magneto and The Wasp, because there was consummation.  Ugh.

Friday, 9/17 toss-up: in the classic X-Men's 139 and 140, Wolverine returned to Canada to settle things with Alpha Flight and ended up fighting the Wendigo, and Nightcrawler tagged along.  Of Cyclops and Colossus, which would have been the more interesting "chaperone" in place of Nightcrawler - and why?

That's pretty clumsily worded - Nightcrawler was in fact an excellent and logical choice.  For the purposes of this question, assume that your choice had an equally good reason storywise for coming along.

Cyclops.  I would have liked to see Wolverine stuck between authority figures old and new.

Cyclops- as Kevin and William have inferred. Mr. Maxwell hit it on the head.
