Well, as a child I gravitated toward team books, nowadays toward solo.

And then it sort of depends on which characters.

I prefer Avengers to solo Cap, but Batman is a mile better on his own than in a team book. And then I love the FF. Aaaaargh!

I'll go solo, because two of my favourite characters are Batman and Spider-Man and they work best on their own.

Very few team books have ever interested me.

I'd say team,

but honestly, well written would be the first choice,

and then team.
