I think Wolverine & Daredevil might be more suited for the job. I'd be fascinated by a story where Reed has to use his mind and finds there are things he cannot master. A Batman/Mr. Fantastic story in the right hands would be simply awesome. I tried to come up with something but Act II always ended with Batman saying "The Gotham Park Murderer is... The Super-Skrull!" Reed and Ben would probably make for a better story. Imagine Ben gets tuned into a mystery involving one of his old Yancy street connections, and Reed gets brought into it (perhaps haughtily thinking the whole thing would be done before lunch). Reed finds himself in a nuanced world where Ben possesses resources he flat out does not. There's a bit of a role reversal and the friendship is strengthened. Plus maybe Ben gets Reed to use his super-powers in sneakier ways. Reed's no Invisible Girl, but he's got stealth potential. This is my favorite question of mine in a long time. Wednesday, 8/18 toss-up: better comic cursing - "Cripes!", "Flamin'", or "Holy Hannah"-type euphemisms, or ^$%# - type self-censorship?
