Northstar - enjoyed his complexities and have often wondered about AF 23 or 24 (I think) where Northstar went on the quest to save Walter Langkowski because he was supposed to be one who hated him - and yet he didn't hate him at all.

Er... Wade, Northstar was ALWAYS gay.  Check the FAQ's.

Aurora. One of a handful of comic characters I had a crush on as a kid.

As others have pointed out, there are hints of Northstars sexuality throughout JB's run. Luckily he never felt the need in those 28 issues to proclaim "I am gay" during a deadly battle!
