Beastly hot does not computer in Seattle.  So, it's summer now.

Andrew: 72 and sunny today!

Ryan: I KNEW I was home when I first visited in 1995.  I couldn't imagine living anywhere else!

In my mind, the seasons break down by months as follows:

Summer = June, July, August
Fall = September, October, November
Winter = December, January, February
Spring = March, April, May

So it's summer in my view as soon as you flip the calendar over to June!

Summer starts when the schools let out in late May or early June. I think its a hold over from my youth.

I would put all of June in the summer bracket, and even late May, especially if it's hot. So I'll go with a few weeks ago. It's a scorcher today in London; perfect Wimbledon weather. Today apart, the weather's been a bit hit and miss this Summer so far over here.

I don't call Summer, we haven't been on speaking terms in years.

Here in the greater Seattle area, we have yet to hit 75 degrees.

---------------

The wonders of the English language!  To an endomorph like me, 75 degrees IS beastly hot.  So you and I discussing the weather would be a verbal Moebius strip!

To me Summer starts when I think it's too damn hot for Spring.  And Fall starts when the leaves change color.  Trees know more than egghead scientists with their logic and measurements.

Wednesday, 6/23 toss-up: Gwen Stacy or Mary Jane Watson?

Part of me wants to say MJ, if only because of the red hair (her first appearance is also one of my favorite moments in comics).

But Gwendy's final arc (ASM 121, 122) is the one comic (well, two issue story)  that is guaranteed to make me cry every time I read it.

No preference, they need to play off each other.

Solo MJ + dead Gwen = blah
