as much as i like Rouge, i like Hawkeye even more.  Tho' i do acknoledge Peter's point that Rouge was far more a fully commited villain, while Hawkeye basically just had a misguided start (and really, what Avenger didn't spend at least one story as a villain here or there)

That's the most common mistake in all of comicdom, although Madame Rouge never seems to get called Madame Rogue.

Different eras.  After I came up with this question I sat down and read the Hawkeye stories and I realize a much better comparison would have been Hawkeye and Banshee.  My bad.

Friday, 6/18 toss-up: cooler name - Jo Nah (Ultra Boy) or J'onn J'onzz (Martian Manhunter)?
