It's close, until you get to the bird effect.  Then JB wins.  JB just has a way of coming up "I see what you were going for, something like this?" and perfecting the perfect (see his Galactus for another example).

[A quick note: I shan't be available for tomorrow's t/o; can someone step up to the plate but underperform enough that I don't feel inferior?]

Saturday, 6/12 toss-up: better Doom pawn - Namor when Doom hurled the Baxter Building into space, or Tyros when Doom set him up with the artificial power cosmic?

Gotta go with Namor.

Even if the other story is superior in every way (and I'm not saying it is), anything having to do with the Baxter Building being hurled into space wins automatically in my little world.
