Yeah, I had to think, even when I first saw this in the theater, that Ford/Solo was reacting the way he did for that exact reason.

I remember seeing Harrison Ford on TV talking about Lucas' dialogue going, "Who writes this shit?" 
I imagine Ford saw the holes in the plot right away.

Han's the one for me.  Of course, at first I didn't much care for him, but when he came back for the battle of the death star, I was genuinely surprised - and moved.  That was a powerful moment from my youth.

Monday, 5/3 toss-up: Hourman (original) or Dr. Mid-Nite (original)?
