at the moment, i'll go with Mouse, the Foo Dog -- in another minute, it'll probably be someone else all together.

Wednesday, 3/31 toss-up: who'd you rather have backing you up in a scrap - Ash from Army of Darkness, or Ripley from Aliens?

Good question. Ripley has an unerring ability to just damn well always be right in Aliens that would be useful. She's also acts decisively and knows here way around a pulse rifle, a flame thrower and and an exoskeleton dockloader. At the same time, she also has a worrying tendency to fail to save anyone barring her and Newt (and to a lesser degree, Hicks and Bishop).

Ash is more useful in Army of Darkness than in the other Evil Dead films, but I think I'd rather have Ellen backing me up.

Ash.

Chainsaw and Boomstick make the whole case for me.

Ash, despite the potential for things going horribly wrong.
