Timothy Dalton by mile, as he played Bond closer to the books' Bond, whom I prefer to the movies' Bond, than Brosnan.  Can't speak on the new guy, as I haven't seen either of his 007 movies, but I prefer Dalton to the other Bonds, too.

Dalton beats Brosnan for the reason that Frank Robert mentioned.

Connery was the best ever.

Brosnan, who was the pennacle of Smooth Sauve Always Cool Bond, where as, as much as i like Dalton as an actor, his Bond didn't have an ounce of cool, and always looked as if he was about to wet his nappy.

Dalton's gotten better in retrospect, and Brosnan worse.
