I can fathom watching movies on VHS, but I can't imagine willingly listening to music on tape.  CD wins!

The major advantage for me with both formats was the decreased likelihood of destroying the medium.  I was a notorious vinyl killer.  Cassette tapes fared a little better.  VHS tapes ran in fear from me.  So DVDs win.

Tuesday, 3/16 toss-up: better X-Men villain - Mesmero or Sauron?

Mesmero.

Turning the X-Men into circus performers and sideshow freaks was pretty cruel.

DVDs and CDs equally.

 QUOTE:
Also, nothing beats DVD extras.

Except movies that are so good they don't need them.  Broadway Danny Rose, Zelig, and many other Woody Allen films are such movies, in my opinion.

As for Mesmero vs. Sauron: I've never been a fan of either, though I suppose Sauron looks cooler than Mesmero, with his silly bubble head, does.

Mesmero, any villain with a purple and green color scheme gets my vote as that is classic silver-age.
