Namor and Aquaman.  in a one on one battle I see Namor easily defeating Aquaman.

The Angel/Hawkman fight would only last as long as Angel could fly the fastest.  Gotta take Namor/Aquaman.

This is an interesting one for me because the underdogs (Aquaman and Angel - at least, the classic Angel) have their best chance fighting in their element.  On land, both would get swatted down in short order - especially Angel vs. the far more martial Hawkman.  In the water, Aquaman could summon help, and in the air, Angel could try hit-and-run tactics.  I'd still bet on the favorites, though, and I wanna see Namor vs. Aquaman, by Joe Staton.

Thursday, 3/4 toss-up: better X-Men writer - Roy Thomas or Scott Lobdell?
