To mw thw payoff of these stories is when the dupe shakes off his dominator and how he reacts.  Wolverine might well be grateful for a decent scrap!  But no way is Power Man going to take being turned into a criminal lightly.  I'd like to see him dish out some punishment.

Monday, 2/1 toss-up: who did JB write better - Hawkeye or US Agent?

I am going to go with US Agent.  I didn't care a whole lot for the character until JB got a hold of him.  Hawkeye was one of my favorites and had some good stories well before that.

Hawkeye. Great character that JB captured brilliantly. JB's portrayal of US Agent was pretty good -- scary nuts in fact -- but it was Hawkeye that was more of a joy to read each month.
