The British, but Scotsmen are funnier than either by far. Everything is funnier in a Scottish accent.

The Scottish can't be funnier than the British... Because they are British.

Edited to add: unless, I suppose, the average Scot is funnier than the average Brit.

Tell a Scot that he's British. But first, make me your beneficiary.

Find me any Scot you want (an actual Scot, not for example, an American with Scottish heritage) and I'll tell him he's British. And he'll agree.

When Chris Hoy won a gold medal for Britain in the Olympics he said it felt amazing. He didn't attack anyone for calling him British. I can't think of a single Scottish sportsperson refusing to represent Britain or behaving in anyway like you're suggesting.
