Manning has some great chops, especially when poking fun at himself.  I really wish someone were making those cameo-laden Burt Reynolds/Hal Needham movies today.  Manning would fit right in. But Bob Costas is The Man.  He should have gotten an Oscar for his work on Pootie Tang.

Tuesday, 1/12 toss-up: Star Wars books or Star Trek books?

I have only read a handful of both,  the Star Trek books often seamed off characterization.  So I would have to go with the Star War books

Except for the cartoon and KOTOR, I don't care for anyone else's take on the Star Wars universe.

But Shatner has written some books that I really liked. And with Shatner, you win automatically.

Star Trek.

Star Wars books.  Mostly due to Timothy Zahn's work.
