hmmm  . . .

while, over time, i've gotten a bit tired of A Christmas Story, i've always absolutly loathed "It's a Wonderful Life".  at any rate, my Annual christmas movie of choice, these days, is Lethal Weapon.

The big Question do your kids believe in Santa?  I have a coworker whotells his kids "to receive you must believe!) Our boys are 10, they areon the cusp of non-believing.

Younger one (7) still does, because one of his friends at school stayed up late and "met" him, apparently.

no kids, but if i had 'em, i would MAKE them believe -- i've known people who were raised "without the lie" of Santa and they were all messed up.

Mine did up until last year. My son was prying a little too much and was going to do a search on the internet to find out. There was also a few rumors going around his classroom. He was 9 and my daughter was 12. When their mother told them, my son was a little disappointed and my daughter said she sort of knew, but liked to keep believing. I told them nothing id really going to change. I will still wait until Xmas Eve to put their presents out and they till needed to do the milk and cookies thing. Hey, I guy has gotta eat.

Finding out there was no Santa was a milestone on my way to atheism.

Don't have actual kids, but the kids I have in the dreams I've been having lately act like they do believe (I think its mostly for my benefit that they do).

Yeah, I know I need help. You don't have to tell me.
