Venom by a long shot.

I'm a big fan of the villains who are a mirror image of their heroic nemesis. Venom is, in many ways, a bigger, more powerful, psychotic version of Spider-Man, which makes him a fantastic foe for the Web-Slinger.

The problem is that the character was way overexposed in the 1990s, with Carnage and all that nonsense. But I remember being blown away when Venom debuted in the Michelinie/McFarlane era.

Sandman by a grain.  Oh god that wasn't funny.  But I'm committed now, dammit.

Sandman.

In the comics and the recent movie to boot!

Oops, missed out on yesterday's question and would die if I missed the
opportunity to exclaim:

"BLACK MANTA!"
