Tobey Maguire.

I like Keaton but he brought too many ticks and mannerisms to Bruce Wayne, without any of the playfulness that Bale did (I'm thinking his banter with Alfred and Lucius, specifically, since they were about the only two that could know the "real" Bruce because they were both in on his other ID).

Maguire, on the other hand, has just enough of that underdog quality to make him a relatable Peter Parker. I think he was hampered more by the changes brought on by Raimi and co. than he would have been had a more traditional and loyal fan been in charge of things.

I think Maguire nailed the role for the first two movies, though I wasn't a fan of Peter Parker doing interpretive dance in the third.

I am still a fan of Keaton's Batman.

I liked Keaton, but Maguire was probably overall better.

Sweet, I can post again!

I have to go with Maguire.  Keaton was great, but to me Bruce Wayne should be a bit more dashing.  Keaton looked more like Bruce Wayne in Johnny Dangerously than he did in Batman!  Which brings me to the worst toss-up question ever.  WE CAN GET THROUGH THIS.

Sunday, 12/13 toss-up: better Batman/Bruce Wayne - George Clooney or Val Kilmer?

Val Kilmer. By a mile. Clooney just slept through Batman and Robin (like most viewers). I didn't think Kilmer's Batman was that bad -- he was saddled with awful versions of the Riddler and Two-Face, but the stuff looking back into his childhood kind of worked.
