I've misinterpreted the question again, haven't I?
Guess I just don't consider myself sidekick material.

I don't like either character, but I'd go with Captain America, because Batman's absolutely intolerable, in my opinion. Obnoxious, arrogant, depressing, unfriendly, and so far up his own ass with his superiority complex that he makes me want to throw up. Working for him would be worse than working with Greg House, I think, and that's saying a lot.

And after that ray of sunshine, I think I'll pick Captain America, because apparently he knows Betty Page (check out Twisted Toyfare Theater - if you dare!).

Hmmmm. Tough one -- both have shown their sidekick isn't always best protected. Cap's the nicer guy, but Bruce has got the Batcave and the gadgets. Then again, Cap's got all the interesting friends and the connections with the government. Both have access to great butlers. Batman's got the really nasty villains though. I think I'd have to go with being Batman's sidekick. Then I'd get to ride in the Batmobile, ride in the sidecar of the batbike, snoop around the Batcave. Still a bit scared of facing the Joker though.

I like the DC Universe more the Marvel Universe. I like Batman beforehe became as dark as he is now, so I would have to go with the Batmansidekick if it was not so grim and gritty.

Kingpin I'll go with Captain America since it means i'd be able to sleep at night instead of patroling the city after 11PM...
