One reason is that a minotaur has a bull's head, which I would assume would mean bull brain too.

Minotaurs are much, MUCH cooler than Centaurs.  Also: Centaurs are unable to perform the important, um, clean up in aisle two that I just can't give up.

[edit: Oops!  It's the Imperial Guard, of course, not the Starjammers in the X-Men double-pager - although the Starjammers ALSO debuted in X-Men #107...]
