clearly Today - a few well remembered film gems from my childhood doesn't wash away the otherwise total bleakness of the era.

I tend to take movies one at a time, as they are, not lump them into periods, genres, etc. My wife however won't look at a movie made before she was.

I like more kinds of movies now, so today.  I also enjoy most of my old favorites on different levels (and in higher definition!), so again today.

Thursday, 9/24 toss-up: which story would you rather read - Hellboy versus The Red Skull by Mike Mignola, or The Impossible Man vs. The Red Ghost & his Super-Apes, by Arthur Adams?
