The first (and only) time I read those stories I thought he was way weird.  I'm about to start the run again and we'll see what twenty-some years has done for me.

Saturday, 9/5 toss-up: better pastiche - The Imperial Guard (Legion of Super-Heroes) or the Squadron Supreme (Justice League)?

all depends on what you mean by better -- the Imperial Guard really had it's own identity dispite it's inspiration - still, i have to say i always LIKED the Squad better.
