Crisis.... Killed off my favorite DC character (until he came back this year).  Didn't make me happy, but it was impactful.   SW would be remembered about as well as "Contest of Champions"  if not for Spidey's alien symbiot suit.

Crisis by a COUNTRY MILE!!!

DC created Crisis as the catalyst for long lasting change in the DC universe. Most (If not all) of the changes that occurred in SECRET WARS was undone within a year.

I loved the Secret Wars, being a Marvel guy and all.

Sunday 8/30 toss-up: which would have looked better - Electro designed by Jack Kirby or The Mole Man designed by Steve Ditko?
