Mr. Freeze - Clayface as noted, is more or less Sandman and/or Chameleon, while Mr. Freeze has a sob-story that'll make Peter feel bad, and give him an opportunity to say "Extra-Layer of LongJohns" every time they meet.

I think Troy's gonna win this one too.
And I wanna change my answer to Mr. Freeze.
As its been pointed out, Clayface is essentially a Sandman/Chameleon hybrid, while DC has multiple ice villains. Dump one on Marvel and you've got something.

Mr. Freeze - in addition to the tragic backstory, he's also a scientist. This
would provide some really good opportunities for Peter to beat himself up
over, "This could have easily been me if not for Uncle Ben teaching me that
with great power comes great responsibility."

Mr. Freeze, for certain.
Sunday 8/2 toss-up: Batman says he doesn't want Hammerhead; he wants Kingpin. So who goes to Daredevil in exchange - Firefly or The Ventriloquist?
(HAS there been a Kingpin/Batman story? Because by God there oughtta be.)

really, one Kingpin is worth Firefly, Ventriloquist AND Crazy Quilt for good measure (and honestly, I can see ONE good Daredevil story for each C-List Bat-Villain) - but to pick one - Firefly, his M. O. seems like something DD would wrap himself around

Gotta go with Firefly. Really no good opportunities for Ventriloquist to take advantage of his speech impediment if he fights Daredevil. Unless he's talking about Matt Murdock's dad. It doesn't really work right.
Yeah, Firefly.
