Firestorm and Red Tornado

I would say Captain America and Wolverine but isn't Wolverine in enough books already?

Firestorm/Red Tornado - gotta love it - while Cap/Wolverine - oil & water can be an intersting clash only so often - specials, crossovers, maybe a mini- but not a regular series.

Yeah, troy's spot on. Cap's all about teamwork, and Wolverine's illiterate in that department.

So many directions it could go

Captain America & Wolverine could be a barnburner if a LOT of the right stars aligned, starting with a good creative team and getting Wolverine out of the 2000 books and seven super-teams he belongs to currently.  I see it as a street-level buddy movie, a two-man A-Team roaming this great country of ours and setting things right.  And lots of heady discussions over beer and pretzels.

But Firestorm and Red Tornado?  I GOTTA see how that turns out.  Maybe a She-Hulk-ish vibe (I can already see them turning to each other in the third issue and saying "What the heck are we doing in this book?").
