Danger Unlimited.  Something about knowing John Byrne's Next Men has a definite ending makes it a bittersweet read, and so it comes in second.

Friday 7/24 toss-up: better duo - Batman and Robin, or Captain America and Bucky?

I don't know; too hard to call. Can't really see either of them taking a long
walk on the beach at sunset together.

Batman and Robin.  I grew up with them from tv, then I started reading comices and learned about Bucky being Captain America's partner.

Batman and Robin

However, I can see Captain America and Bucky taking a walk on the beach if its to walk into the sunset.

Time for another massive catchup:

Summer reading list:  Complete Neal Adams Batman hardcovers, Was Superman a Spy and Other Comic Book Legends Revealed

Magik (over Karma)

Psyche (over Wolfsbane)

Bonus: Claremont (over Sienkiewicz)

Aquaman (over Sub-Mariner)

What If Batman found Abin Sur and became Green Lantern

The “future” Days of Future Past battle against the Sentinels

Bill Sienkiewicz (over Sam Keith)

Billiards/pool (over ping pong)

Star Trek (over Star Wars)

Impossible Man (over Warlock) at the movies

Bonus:  We’d see Fantastic Four—I’d like to get his reaction on why the characters are different in the movie than how they really are

I would be bothered more if I am late

Legion of Super-Heroes (over Green Lantern Corps)

Celebrating the 4th with cookouts, beer and fireworks

Batman vs. Taskmaster (over Captain America vs. Deathstroke)

Twin Peaks – weirder show (over Flying Nun)

Better brawl – Colossus vs. Rhino (over Nightcrawler vs. Batroc)

Cooler – JB using Hellfire Club in Namor (over Mole Man in Alpha Flight)

Bigger badass – Annhilus (over Blastarr)

Aurora (over Jeanne-Marie)

Cold cuts (over peanut butter)

Better throwdown – Deadshot vs. Toyman (over Graviton vs. Dr. Doom)

Better transportation – Silver Surfboard (over Mjolnir)

Better transportation – Falcon’s wings (over Wonder Man’s jet packs)

Better collaboration – Lee/Ditko on Amazing Spider-Man (over Claremont/Byrne X-men)

Better – 1st 20 issues of Amazing Spider-Man (over Fantastic Four)

I don’t think I’ve been on any superhero themed rides but I’ll go with Orlando’s Amazing Spiderman (sic) Ride

I read Daredevil 181 after I already knew what happened but I’d have probably guessed Elektra would win

JB’s Superman (over his Wonder Woman)

Staying up late beats out turning in early by a mile for me

I found cliffhangers more exciting, I guess, but also frustrating

Pining for John Byrne’s Next Men (over Danger Unlimited)

Better duo: Batman and Robin (over Cap and Bucky)
