I've just always like The Legion. The Green Lantern Corps is clearly more awesome, but I'm a Legion Lover, dammit.
Saturday 7/4 toss-up: how do you prefer to celebrate the 4th - beer and cookouts (and fireworks), or parades and patriotic speeches (and fireworks)?

Beer, cookouts and fireworks, exactly what's on tap for tomorrow.

Here in spain we don't celebrate the 4th but I'd celebrate
it with beer (or other drink) and cookouts (and fireworks)

The Legion
The fourth is my mom's birthday. Usually just family, a BBQ and cake. No fireworks or speeches. It shames me to see how much more celebratory you Americans are about my mom's birthday.

If I had only those as choices, then beer(or another drink) and a cookout(maybe fireworks; don't know yet). Don't care for parades and these days patriotic speeches always get political, and the current political environment just makes me angry.

With a long walk on the beach at sunset, of course.

My family's going to Destin in a few weeks. I'll wait for walks on that beach over walks on Galveston beach. Big difference.

Really.
