While I'd sincerely prefer to have the "real Avengers" back, I'm still reading New Avengers, which should probably be called Defenders or somethingelse entirely. I read the first issue of Mighty Avengers and passsed on the second one.
"Now we need a Wolverine." Aaargh!
edited because I can't spell today.

I have not read Mighty Avengers or New Avengers post Civil War, but the new New Avengers do seem more like the new New Defenders to me too, especially with Dr. Strange on the team.

I found the same thing to be very odd and lame. Do Ms. Marvel and Iron Man
collect Marvel comics and hang out on fan boards? This sounds like the
thinking of a comicbook writer, not the actual characters in the book.
I'll buy the book as long as Frank Cho's drawing it however, no mastter how
lame the story gets, since I buy my books mainly for the art.

Junior, dunno and New as I like more of the characters in New and they didn't stand around talking to Ultron for a whole issue...

Pre-Byrne WCA.
I wouldn't pick up a New Avengers comic if I saw a $20 bill sticking
out of it (OK, I'd probably snake the money and run without touching
the comic) and haven't read the other to know the premise.

I've read both, neither are the "Avengers".
I'll pick "Might Avengers", because it hasn't been around as long (there might be hope??) and didn't have stupid covers showing characters that aren't even in the issue (yet). Also, I guess the roster (not the personalities) is close to the Avengers.

The Avengers haven't been the same since George Perez left.
