When someone else is... I'm never late.  That said, I do worry about BEING late sometimes.

When I am late, rare as it is, I at least know WHY I'm late - when someone else is late I have the added frustration of not only being held up by their lateness, but most often, I don't know WHY they are late and what's happened to them - with a vivid imagination this can lead to some very bad thoughts, so - I'll go with "When Someone Else Is Late"

just an added note: the WOSRT is when someone else being late, for unknown reasons, is going to make ME Late.

Anyone have any formerly chronically tardy friends who, in this age of the cell phone, have cleaned up their act?  Or the reverse?

My wife is worse with the cell. She won't answer her phone in the car since California changed the laws regarding talking while driving. So, when she's an hour or more late getting home from work and hasn't called or answered my calls to see where she is (usually her phone is dead anyway), I start flipping out, ala Troy.

OK, maybe I should change my vote.

When I'm late I get pretty uptight, but that doesn't happen very often.  When someone else is late my imagination goes into overdrive and I get pretty upset.  It's kinda like when your wife is mad at you because she dreamed you did something wrong.

Friday, 7/3 toss-up: Green Lantern Corps, or Legion of Super-Heroes?

Legion, even tho' their lows have been Very Low - their highs have been some of my all-time favorite comics, on the other than, never really have been a big GLC fan -- Alan Scott is the one true Green Lantern.
