I'm a little uncertain about the wording of today's toss-up, Ted. I'm going to assume that by pre-Byrne you mean before JB joined the book, obviously, and post -Bynre means after he began writing it, not after he left. Am I right that you meant it this way? Assuming I am...Post-Byrne AWC.

Aaron, this question does NOT include JB's run, with the assumption that his run is preferred over these two choices: West Coast Avengers (pre-Byrne) and Avengers West Coast (post-Byrne).

For example, I preferred the original West Coast Avengers by Englehart & Milgrom to everything that came after JB's run.

I especially enjoyed the first mini-series too. With everything I have sold, including my Silver Age Avengers and X-Men runs down to number 4 each, I have not sold this mini-series. Crazy, huh?

Thanks, Ted. Sorry for my confusion. For some reason the question struck me as an odd one and I made an assumption that the question was meant to include JB's run despite the way it was phrased. Anyway...I really can't answer this one now, since I don't recall reading any WCA or AWC that wasn't JB's.
