Karma for me. I was shocked when she apparently died early on in the series.

Magik was an interesting character (I liked the Storm & Magik mini-series a lot). But she was just too powerful and upset the dynamic of the team, particularly when you consider that the New Mutants weren't supposed to be a well-oiled fighting machine to begin with.

Karma all the way.

Hated hated hated the whole Illyana/Magik storyline. Just. Plain. Dumb.
And scary. A sunset walk on the beach with her just might end up as the
date from hell.

I only paid attention to it during the Bill Sienckekopfewizenblugger era, at which point Karma was one of the bad guys.
