webfluid, though I always thought it would have been better if he had some sort of organic web. (I kid! I kid!)

As much as I love the web fluid, and how integral I believe it to be to the Spider-Man mythos, I gotta go with Doc Ocks arms.  Really, there's no comparison between a temporary adhesive and (at one time sentient) robot arms that give the wearer brute strength and are also able to perform finesse tasks.

Doc Ock's arms are the better invention.  Even if the webs are cooler.

Doc Ock's arms.  If you look at versatility, it beats the web fluid.

hard call here -- both inventions are only half-way there - the Fluid was pretty much nothing  without the additional invention of the web-shooters - the Arms were an okay invention, but took an explosive Accident to move past the need for clumsy-looking dial controls - still, I have a great fondness for seeing the Arms beat the crap out of the Punisher, with Doc never even bothering to look around at what was going on - thus, they are the better invention.
