TODAY'S TOSS-UP (4/4):

The Brave and the Bold or DC Comics Presents?

This was the first issue of B&B I discovered.  Alas, it was also the last, but I followed Jim Aparo into BATO and became a big fan.

I became a Gil Kane fan with this issue of DCCP, based solely on the cover.  I bought it in a Super X drug store in HOllywod, Florida, shortly after I started "collecting" comics.  I was 12 years old.

I'd say Brave & the Bold, but remember it had a much, much longer run than DC Comics Presents did. So it had alot more of a chance for great writers and artist to work on it.
