X-Men vs Hellfire Club
There was something about the Proteus match-up that just seemed off to me.

X-Men vs. Proteus, i have long felt that this arc was under-appreciated.

The X-Men vs. The Hellfire Club (129-134).
What can I say? I liked a naughty Jean! I also like the use of Mastermind. The abuse Wolverine got. Many, many little things.

Gotta go with my boy Proteus. He gets bonus points for (more or less) having only one appearance.
Wednesday 2/4 toss-up: which character owes more to his rogues' gallery - Superman or Batman?
(feel free to suggest someone who beats them both)

I would argue Superman has the most underrated and underused rogues gallery in superhero comics:
Luthor, Mxyzptlk, Bizarro, Titano, Brainiac, Phantom Zone villains, Metallo, Parasite.....

I think Flash has the funnest gallery in comics, but Batman beats Superman's.
