Spider-Man's eyes - classic smaller, as Michael said, they do not need to overwhelm the face.

Classic smaller eyes - in some more recent issues his eyes are almost ridiculously too large.

I have to admit that I prefer the larger eyes. They give Spidey a more bug-like face.

I wish the classic were a bit bigger, or the modern a bit smaller.  In other words, I like both but want something in the middle!
