Ray will those  M4 pages be turned round in these volumes? or do you have to turn your book upside down to read them ?

Brad here is a book showing a cover, all of my books include the covers unless they are card covers. Look at the Next Men volume above to see what I do with card covers.

I think in the case of something like NEXT MEN, I'd have the covers all collected at the end, because the book really is one big story and it would be neat to see it that way.

With something like IRON MAN, which would be my next choice of series to do, I'd have all the covers included with each issue.

The more I see, the more I want to do it.

Roger that's the joy of self-binding you get to do it the way that you want it.

I think I'd try to do all my IRON MAN comics in sets of 25 issues at a time, with a separate volume or two at the end for annuals, specials, and one-shots.

But, just to start out and test the waters a bit, I think I'll do a short series of less expensive to replace books.  Something like Tom DeFalco and Ron Frenz's THUNDERSTRIKE...then move on to NEXT MEN, then work my way up to a larger collection like IRON MAN.

That's a good idea Roger, it is better to test out a local binder with less valuable comics. Once you are satisfied that they will do a good job then you can get to the serious books.

That's why Capitol was my first choice of binder, because I've seen, through David Banks' efforts, the end results of others' comics being bound, and that gives me an automatic higher level of confidence.  But I don't know if I can wait until they're taking new customers again.

So, I've been perusing the binding forum that somebody linked to earlier, and I see a couple other binders listed in one of the threads.  Based on some forum testimonials there, I might give one or two of them a try.
