Michael is actually doing a pin-up of the character Omnipotus for the 2nd issue of the Offical Handbook of the Invincible Universe. I couldn't have been any happier than when he agreed to be a part of it! That first hulk may very well be from the VS. Upperdeck card system!

i think JB draws the best hulk of anybody. it was too bad about what happened for him to not always draw hulk but i guess also it is a good think because of who has written so many stories since. mr byrne thouigh draws such a great hulk!

Steve Rude also does a good Kirby Hulk.

Steve Rude's Hulk looks great.  Bruce Timm's Hulk is awesome!  Eric Powell did a decent Hulk when he handled the MARVEL MONSTERS art chores, and Duncan Fegredo's take on the jade giant in that same mini was incredible!  The Hulk also looks good when drawn by JB and Alan Davis.  (I wasn't quite as taken with Dale Keown's as most people seemed to be.  It wasn't bad though.)

As a Kirby homage it's nice, but I'd much prefer a Hulk in Golden's own style. That Dyspare Doctor Strange issue he did is an absolute masterpiece.

My top Hulk artists are: Kirby, JB, Buscema, and Keown

A Golden Defenders piece I have in my computer's wallpaper folder.

Steve Rude's SUPERMAN VS THE HULK is one of my favorite comics stories of all time. I really wish this blockheaded articulate Hulk would catch on again. I think his gruff working man's language is enough of a contrast to Banner's more timid, soft-spoken scientific-ness.

And here's Mike Golden's covers to INCREDIBLE HULK:

Wow. One indeed learns something new everyday. I've seen that Hulk/Gardener cover before on several occasions, but never knew it was by Golden.

That GI Joe piece is from the 80's. It's the back cover to one of their Yearbooks.

Golden is one of very few artists I would buy a comic for just to have his cover.

Bulky Hulk with hairy chest and arms (and as few toes as Hulkishly possible) is my favourite. I'm not a fan of the 'Gold's Gym' Hulk. I'm not fussed either way with regard to the torn trousers or the super-sized speedos. Either is okay by me.

I always appreciated the Timex aspect of the Hulk. No matter the punishment, Hulk would be able to recover.
