I will assume that the Midnighter picture that Gerry posted is the variant cover that I mentioned in my post. That is unless Golden did a different Midnighter rendition.

I like it, I do prefer the ripped pants, and I prefer grunting HULK over
eloquent(ish) HULK, the one who built the gun, was speaking politely, and
seemed completely in control would never be considered a monster to the
level the HULK is, yes people would say "He's green and huge, AHHHH!
MONSTER!" but that wouldn't last long, seeing that HULK appears to be
able to give a press conference.

I definitely prefer bulky over muscly, but I like both.
