Your best comission in recent memory (maybe best ever?), great work JB!
Don't know if the new inking technique helped, but it seemed good to
me. Although I'll always miss the duo-tone (duo-shade?) years...

There's such a feeling of depth in that image. I'd love to see a red/blue 3D version of it.

Ya know, seeing John's Ultron along with his Avatar of Rog, I'm thinking someone should suggest a commission of those two going toe to shiny toe. My money is on Rog's cigar to beat Ultron's eyebeams, but hey, that's just me.

Excellent composition of the characters, I especially like how YJ fits in. I've greatly enjoyed the last several Avengers commissions JB has done. All seem to have that special spark for me.

Hard to beat this one! I like how John even managed to fit in a kick-butt cityscape in the background. I like the shot of Hawkeye the best!
Boxing has the "best pound for pound fighter". Well John is the industry's best "inch by inch commission artist". You've packed every square inch completely full of eye candy. The coolest thing is, that with soooo much detail, the figures don't get lost one bit in the piece.
Sleep well tonight, you made some fine art today!!!!

You know how I know John's hit a home run? Upon seeing the piece I immediately want to go to my drawing board and start drawing.
I draw inspiration from John's work, and John simply DRAWS inspiration!
Thanks a ton... It's going to be a late night for my ol' pencil ;0)

This is stunning. I am so jealous of the lucky person who gets this
commission. One of the best ones ever.... and there's been some great
ones. Great job JB.
Whover ownes this ( and it may have been posted already but I didn't
read all the thread yet ) IF you EVER want to part with this years from
now (and I don't know why you ever would), PLEASE contact me. I know
Wayne will offer you more money, but please give me a shot.

You would never guess that from this piece. Even discounting the dynamics and balance of the figures, the environment is beautiful on its own. I love the detailed line work of the room, contrasted against the silhouette of the cityscape. More than being drawn superbly, the whole thing announces "This is fun to draw".

JB, truly amazing. What a use of space - mind boggling.
Thanks for sharing - and what a lucky somebody the new owner of this
piece is.
P.S. Always loved your version of Hawkeye.
