Looking at the amazing page form Avengers West above makes me remember how awful and harmful the coloring in comic books can be. Never liked the page as printed, seeing it in b&w is like seeing a different page. An excellent page....

I know I'm coming to the party ridiculously late here, but I've got to say that I really like the commission.  Nuclear-powered psychotic supervillains are my favourite!

For you, JB, the Beast should act more like Spider-man, being funny and cracking jokes as in the days of the Avengers or more like an intellectual/scientist?

Not related question: if in a (marvelous) piece like this one, the customer asked for the insertion of a character of his own, providing you samples, would you object? If not, how much extra % would you charge the character (if so)?

Definitely the latter -- tho not completely without a sense of humor.

So far, I have politely declined to do such commissions, so I have no real idea of what the increase in cost would be.
