Mighty Thor! Mighty Thor!

Knew what hammers were invented for!

He'd smack those crooks right in the head!

Add "Thee" and "Thou" to whatever he said!

Hey There!

There goes the mighty Thor!

Ok. I gotta admit that I was not an Iron Fist fan, but these commissions have made me really take another look at this character.  So who is going to get a character pose commission of him?

JB: Iron Man, Iron Man,
Does whatever an iron can.
Presses pants, really fine,
Keeps those pleats
Right in line.

Hey there!
There goes the Iron Man!

++++++++++++

If I remember correctly these lyrics appeared in an issue of She-Hulk when she took the detour through the Mile High Comics ad to get to Doctor Bong.

Writing these mirthful lyrics is all about scan.
Pay attention to the number of beats, or syllables, in
the original.

Iron Fist, Iron Fist
Stay away from him
When he's pissed.
Fires up his mighty
chi
Punches you in the eye

Hey there!
There goes the Iron Fist

Ch'i = "chee"

...Punches you in the knee...?

(Fires up his mighty chi! Just one punch and you're history! Watch out! There goes the Iron Fist!)

No wait...

Ma-an Thing! Ma-an Thing!

Haunts the marshland,

And doesn't sing!

Giant-sized!

Burns up fear!

Can't remember how he got here.

Hey There!

There goes the Ma-an thing!

Is that another for Scott Green I ask myself. Looks great.

Scott has this one up in his CAF gallery, that is dedication for you. I wonder who Iron Fist will be fighting next?

You never know. Some people have unusual requests for commissions. Of course, the revised (and much more aestethically pleasing) costume first showed up when Iron fist had already been introduced, I think...

Fantastic piece, JB.  Shellhead's very muscular left arm brings up a question I've sometimes pondered... based on this (and most Iron Man drawings), his armor seems to be skin tight / form-fitting in certain places, like over the biceps.  Not at all like the unwieldy, unyielding grey circular water heater outfit he first wore back when Stan created him in TOS 39.  Given that the modern version fits (folds up?) neatly into a suitcase (or did in the late 70s thru the 80s when I was a reader), is this suit of armor a series of pieces that are snapped together?  Or perhaps a few larger pieces, portions of which have liquid metal or clothing properties until the user dons them and they then become rigid?  Or something else?  Obviously the armor is durable to be able to withstand a punch from Titanium Man or a force bolt from the Crimson Dynamo, etc., yet it does not appear to be particularly thick in certain areas, and seems very form fitting.  I'd be interested in your interpretation of the mechanics / general properties of the suit, if you have one.
