I love this piece. I am officially jealous of the owner of it.

Simply SMASHING John - this may be your best one yet!!! Just when I thought you topped them all with the Iron Fist #14 and Sabertooth, you hit another blast with the "Duel of Iron"! And, no nose please - the art is perfect as is.
Thanks again for another awesome Iron Fist cover re-imagining, and I cannot wait to see the next one on our list! Best...
- Scott

Very nice, JB - just curious, do you have any opinion of the work done
in the Daughters of the Dragon series by Khari Evans and Jimmy
Palmiotti?
I don't read many comics these days, but got my hands on the first 6 of
this series, mostly out of curiosity how they'd handle Misty and
Colleen. My opinion - nice good girl art, not consistent though
and wafer thin stories. Played mostly for laughs though, I guess,
so ok.

Oh well, thanks anyway. I thought it was a coincidence I was
checking these out and Misty appeared in your latest commission.
As a former comic junkie but consistent JB fan, I was MIA for many
years on current comics happenings, so from time to time I wonder about
the latest crop of artists. All seem much more dynamic/flashy
than the artists of the past, except for the true greats of course -
most of whom are discussed regularly on this site. I do think there's a
very superficial feel to many of the more recent artists - lots of
glitz, no substance. Lack of interest in anatomy and
storytelling, etc. Pretty covers, I guess do not comic book
artists make.
I much prefer art from people who consistently deliver good product -
many thanks, JB for sharing your wonderful commission pieces.
Your work is as wonderful as ever.

Iron Man and Iron Fist, doo dah, doo dah...
Nice piece -- I echo those who say they love the perspective. I also love the
rendering of Iron Man's armor.
