My Thor art posted on the previous page of this thread just arrived and I can now interpret the margin notes for those who may care!

The first interesting thing is that the book title at the top originally reads "Marvel Fanfare" but then MIGHTY THOR was stamped over top of it, so originally this was meant for another title and then changed to a fill-in Thor issue.  Cool

The left margin has the following notes:  "Oh no! (guilt guilt) I didn't mean to do that...but at least Hulk is finished!" / "Oh no I'm not!  You've really pissed me off!" / "Oh no! Not the gas cars!" / "BA DA BA ROOM!"

The bottom margin has the following: "Take that you stinker you" / "Unh!" / "change to: is there no limit to the beast's strength?"

Right margin: "this has not been touched up" / "note flames going through supermarket (ouch!)"

Very cool.  Art looks great.

***There are also some pen marks on the back of the page where someone (Coletta I presume) was practicing on his line weights.

My completed "anniversary" present to myself:

Top left: My first comic.  Marvel Tales #204, signed by John Byrne at MidOhioCon 2001.

Top right: Marvel Team-Up #68, the original comic/story that was reprinted in MT #204.

Bottom left: MTU #68 cover recreation by Joe Rubinstein (just arrived yesterday).

Bottom right:  MTU #68 cover reimagining by John Byrne.

Dreams can come true.

I have this one coming from Jim...some times I like to pick up a page just to see what kind of technique is used (in this case the rain) and of course the first rule: It has to mean somthing to you. in this case JB coming back on board with this issue if She-Hulk.

William,

The dialog totally makes your page!  Very nice.  When the piece arrives, please fill us in on how the rain was done.
