James Henry: What are the dimensions of that piece?

It was done on 11x17 board.  The image itself is 15" high, but not as wide as a standard page due to the scale factor of the corner box.

Being a single income family, raising my son and putting my wife through school, I don't have the disposable income to buy much original art or commissions.

The best I can do is finagle a guy like JB to draw a story that I can then ink, then get some of the original art back to keep.

In other words, getting paid to acquire original John Byrne art.

Bow down in awe of my evil mastermindedry.

I am mighty.

I took a few pictures of some recently purchased art. Hope you like 'em!

The first is an unused cover to Star Trek: Deep Space Nine by Scott Rosema. I'm not usually keen on photorealistic art, but I love Star Trek and the price was dirt cheap. The DS9 station is a stat.

Next is from the JBF's least favorite E-I-C Joe Quesada. I always enjoyed his short run on X-Factor and have a soft spot in my heart for Strong Guy. This is card art from an old X-Men set.

This is from an old Harvey strip called Little Dot. The art is signed Ernie and dated 1959. The seller claims it is an Ernie Colon. Even if it wasn't, this is a cool piece from a line of comics I was raised on as a child. I'm waiting for an Essential Harvey collection to be made one day. Picture came out a little fuzzy.

Edited to add that this was my 3000th post. Yeah, me!

Unlike Keith, I can't write or draw. So I get my John Byrne art the old fashion way. Here are three pages from Blood of the Demon that arrived at my doorstep today!

The first is a repost from earlier in the thread. The original scan looked better than my photo.

Greg, just a thousandaire! Honestly, these pieces didn't cost as much as you would think. I was able to get a good deal on all of them. I may spend money on my hobbies, but I'm always looking for the best deals.
