I am definitely going to leave that alone, Gerry.
So Christmas has come early for me. My girlfriend and I did our gift exchange tonight since we won't be together on the 25th. She got me
This
and
this
Those were pages I was thinking of grabbing in the new year. So it worked out quite well. They should be making it to me shortly. My first John Byrne original art. I'm really looking forward to seeing them. So far I've been amazed at how the art looks compared to the version we see in the comics. So much better. I can't wait for these to make it to me.

My two new Fourth World pages (posted at the top of page 21 of this thread) arrived today! They look great and as usual I am very pleased with the service provided by Jim Warden. Highly recommended to those of you who may not have had the pleasure.
JB worked on 24 issues of New Gods/JK's Fourth World with about 22 pages each, right? That means I'm now the proud owner of 0.76% of all of JB's art for that series! 524 more pages and I'll have all of them!

Congrats on receiving the pages, Joe. Thanks for the kudos on the soon to be mine Byrne pages, Ryan, Gerry & Joakim. I realized I forgot to add in a few I bought recently as well. First off a New Warriors page from Mark Bagley
The Marvel campaign 'Heroes for the 90s" really got me buying. I started Namor, New Warriors, Guardians of the Galaxy and a few others because of it. I plan to get pages from the series I collected back then. I have several Guardians pages so I really just need a Namor page. Sadly the one I was after recently was bought so I'll have to see what catches my eye. I also got this
Big Captain America fan and I really enjoyed the Mark Gruenwald run. Kieron Dwyer's art was a definite draw for me month after month. Not a great scan but you get the drift.
In posting the four pages I've noticed something. I seem to go for mostly non-action pages. Or maybe there just haven't been any that were in my price range. I have a lot of framing to get done in the new year. That's for sure.

Kieron Dwyer's Captain America run was one of my favorites. Nice piece, Trevor.

Trevor – although there is no "action" in the Hollywood sense in those pages, there is definitely things happening and going on. And in all honesty, I find such pages a bit more appealing than strict "action" shots which tend to easily become alike in some sense. Splashes in the story. I think I'd really much rather like getting one page of storytelling, so I commend you on your choices. So cool.

O, and I also followed Namor, New Warriors and Guardians of the Galaxy back in the day, which probably isn't so weird given that we're close in age (I just spotted). Think my GootG are still in storage in my parents attic, but Namor and New Warriors, I believe I sold off to a friend... though I've of course invested in Namor yet again as you know. :)

This is a great thread! I don't have the money to get any art right now but I do hava couple of pieces that I'll post when I can get them scanned.
