He had a very interestung run on Wonder Woman that people either loved or hated because it featured Artemis taking over the mantle and Diana in a biker outfit. It was the run just prior to Mr. Bryne if I remember correctly. I actualy quit like his take. He has also penciled Spider-Man(he might be a current penciler on the series but I don't read monthlies any longer)

I believe that it was, but I did not commission it. I have however commissioned a piece from him of the JLA, so it will be interesting to see how it ends up differing from this one.

After Amazing Spider-Man, I believe Deodato went on to do New Avengers. I don't recall that he did too many issues. He then was to be the penciller on Squadron Supreme, but I think that only lasted 1 issue. And now he is pencilling the Thunderbolts when it starts, maybe next month, with the new team of villains introduced in Civil War and written by Warren Ellis.

I remember those garth strips when bellamy drew for the daily mirror paper when he passed away quite a few friends of mine tried for that job one was jim bakie and the other martin asbury. Asbury got the job because he made his art look a little like bellamy. In my opinion no one could ever come close to matching his work he was a great guy and i miss his work.

Thanks Gerry! The first piece of original art I bought was a Fourth World page at MidOhioCon 2004. At the time it was between the piece I bought and the splash page above. I can't believe over two year later it was still available for my grubby little fingers! I now have a John Byrne splash page! Woo-hoo!
The second page I really like because it fits a bit of a theme I have going with my Fourth World art...the rest of which is posted elsewhere in this thread (I think) and I also have a gallery at comicartfans.com if you are interested...
