Roger, you seemed to have been working overtime in Baltimore. Great pick-ups. I have to go next year.

Great art. Love that Simonson sketch Ari.

My first page was from Marvel: The Lost Generation. It has Oxbow, Pixie, and the Black Fox. Looks 100x better in person. Finally got it framed. I actually thought that would be it. One page. I now have over fifteen pages of JB art. Whenever I can I try to get one.

"One more from Baltimore. Harley Quinn by Neil Vokes"

Something about that design made me think of the classic "what's on a man's mind" double picture.  I just felt like I should "tweak" the picture in my head to make it right. Now that'll stay in my head for hours. Annoying.

I've expressed the exact same sentiment several times, even down to the age that I'd "visit" myself! I also would never have imagined that I would ever own a piece of artwork by JB containing a matchup of my choosing. Perhaps JB should change his forum title to "Dreammaker" or something.

And welcome, Lloyd. I'm curious, JB's been available online now for around a decade. What took you so long? (implied smiley here) Nothing wrong with it of course, I just find it interesting when someone joins nowadays. Even more perplexing is when a lurker or non-member commissions some Byrne artwork.

No problem; that's a fair question.

I've only been aware of JB's presence online for a few years now, and through most of that time I've been too busy to do much more than simply admire his commissions and enjoy a few comments here and there.

Of late, though, I've developed a serious health problem that has caused me to slow down substantially, and has reminded me to take time to smell the roses.  As a result, I've tried to get back into some hobbies that had been on the back burner for a while and decided to pick up a new one: original art.

The last two are my favorites.

I wonder how JB's version would look like using shadow the same way as the second piece.
