How much time did you devote to finding that panel, scanning the page, cropping it, and posting it here?

Perhaps, instead of working so hard on missing my point (which Ronald seems to have gotten without any trouble), you should think about getting a life?

Probably less than 5 minutes, I'd just browsed through a lot of Avengers a couple of weeks ago, so I knew right where it was. And as much as you like to use that "missing the point" dodge, how exactly am I missing the point?

Roger, JB says the point of his statement was that it is bad writing mistake. He wasn't exempting himself from making that mistake himself. This was the same point Ronald tried explaining to you. Which JB comfirmed when he claimed Ronald got his point.

Glad you like some of the art we are posting.

Paul, I love seeing original art! Great stuff!

JB's original remark came off to me as a snarky remark towards the writer of the original page. Perhaps if he had worded it differently (like saying "Yeesh, I'm as guilty of that as the next guy!") it wouldn't have come off as snotty as it seemed to me. That way, in order not to "miss the point," we wouldn't be forced to mindread.

That Red Skull panel doesn't even appear to be drawn by JB - I can only assume by context that it was during Acts of Venegence, but where did it appear?

I think Alan Davis's Killraven artwork is the best of his career - and Mark Farmer's to boot. I've poured over those issues so many times just taking in the art, the way he draws faces, the use of shadows. Great work.

For me, it's not so much about income as it is timing.
Most of my Kirby pages, for instance, I bought
twenty-five or 30 years ago, when he was "Jack the
Hack" and none but a select few wanted his stuff.
The snobbery of other collectors has helped place
some wonderful stuff in my collection.

That staggers the imagination.

Comparatively baffling, of course, is how the widespread cries of "John Byrne sucks now" have not at all lowered the price of any of your recent work, JB.
