It's been a good week so far. Just got this from Geof Isherwood in my inbox. :)
I wanted a commission featuring good old Foggy Nelson. The idea was that Foggy would be trying to stall a client at the door as Matt is quickly changing out of his costume and into his civilian clothes. An example of their friendship, and the crazy things a friend of a superhero likely has to contend with on a daily basis.
The layout is a little different than what was in my own mind's eye; I was focusing more on Foggy, and there are a couple of oddities, but overall I think Geof captured the essence of what I was going for quite well. His rates are very fair, he's super fast, and communicates very well via email. All great things when commissioning an artist!
edit: looking at this small scan, it's hard to see, but Foggy's brow is dripping with nervous sweat. Per Geof, he's nervously motioning the young lady to sit at the couch.
